SAMPLE VALENTINES DINNER MENU

 

STARTER

Warm salad of panko crumbed Chicken, honey and soya, beansprouts, coriander, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, crisp fried rice noodles, ginger dressing

Seafood Board for 2 to share: Satay style grilled King Prawn Skewers, sweet chilli; Shetland Scallop Salad, fragrant rice; Prawn Cocktail, amaranth shoots

Rosemary roast pink breast of Wood Pigeon, tarragon braised lentils, candied pecans, port gravy

Oven Baked Tomato and Basil Cheesecake, mushrooms, shallots and asparagus fricassee (v)

 

MAIN COURSE

Loin of Perthshire Venison on a red onion and orange marmalade, roast peppers, zucchini, smoked garlic, baby potatoes, parsley root puree 

Fillet of Halibut grilled over lime leaf and chilli oil, lobster and pea risotto, creamy cheddar and cauliflower 

28 Day Aged Orkney Beef Rib for 2 carved and served with rooster potato fries, Lea & Perrins glazed mushrooms, house ketchup, onion fritters, brandy and peppercorn sauce

Brioche French Toast, grilled goats cheese and butternut squash chutney   (v)

 

DESSERT

Eton Mess Bombe: Strawberry Rose Mousse and sorbet, compote, rose champagne jelly, meringue, freeze dried raspberries
